Fryderyk Chopin Memorial Museum is situated on the second floor of the House Chopin, Hlavní 47, Mariánské Lázně. It has been opened to the public since 1960. In the first section, artefacts and information about Chopin’s life (1810 – 1849) are concentrated. You can learn there about his stay in Bohemia and about the family Wodzinsky. The second part aims to present Fryderyk Chopin Society as a member of the International Federation of Chopin Societies (registered on the UNESCO list), above all its publishing and exposition activities. In the music hall, the visitors will find graphics and prints from the prominent Czech designers. During the visit they can listen to Chopin’s background recorded music.
